Like its smaller 75mm sibling, the IPD Competition 82mm intake plenum for the Cayman S provides a much-needed boost in performance over the factory “T” style plastic plenum.  Airflow is directed through the IPD plenum’s unique diversion splitter, which reduces turbulence, smoothes airflow, and maximizes air speed into the engine.  The end result is noticeably improved throttle response as well as dyno-proven horsepower gains throughout the rpm range.  Note:  The IPD Cayman S Competition 82mm plenum is designed to be a direct factory replacement for the OEM part, however it does require the use of a 997 GT3 throttle body due to its larger 82mm diameter.
